Banking and the 4th Industrial Revolution and guiding approaches<\/p>\n
Abstract:
\nThis article evaluates the effect of the fourth industrial revolution (FIR) to the operations of Vietnam banking industry, which includes the operations of the State Bank, the governance and operations of credit institutions at large and Vietnam commercial banks in particular. The authors point out that FIR affects indirectly to monetary policies conduct; credit institutions\u2019 management, distribution channel; products and services would be changed fundamentally; network securities will also become a significant concern. Base on the recognition of oppotunities and challenges that banking system is facing, the article points out 9 guiding approaches as well as recommentdations for the banking industry and the economy in order to proactively intergate and response with the 4th industry revolution\u2019s trend.<\/p>\n
